What to Expect
You can continue to place your order as normal on our website.
If your address falls within an area where door-to-door delivery is not possible, we’ll automatically route your parcel through the PARGO collection system.
Once dispatched, PARGO will send you an SMS and/or email with full details — including the exact collection point and pickup time. We always aim to select the collection point closest to your address.
We believe this is the safest and most reliable way to ensure your order reaches you without delays or missed deliveries. We’ll continue to review these arrangements as courier access improves.
Why This Is Happening
Due to a significant increase in courier vehicle hijackings and related insurance risks, many courier companies have adjusted their delivery routes.
As a result, some no longer deliver directly to residential addresses in designated high-risk areas.
In some cases, drivers may ask customers to collect their parcels from a local police station or other safe point — which we understand is inconvenient and not ideal.
After testing several courier partners, we found this issue affects nearly all major couriers. To ensure safe and dependable delivery, we’ve partnered with PARGO, a trusted national parcel-collection network operating through Clicks, FreshStop, and other partner stores.
If You Still Prefer Door-to-Door Delivery
If you live in one of these affected areas and do not wish to use PARGO, you are welcome to request direct courier delivery.
However, please note:

Door-to-door delivery to high-risk areas incurs a special handling cost of approximately R200.

This does not guarantee that the courier will deliver directly to your door — in some cases, they may still require you to collect from a police station or secure handover point.

Our standard R89 delivery rate does not apply to these areas.
Should you choose this option, we’ll confirm the additional payment required for your location before dispatching your order.
